5 years

March 15, 2013 marked five years of marriage for Laith and I. On the actual day of our anniversary we had a romantic dinner at home followed by a walk with the dogs to the park (one of our favorite things to do together). 

Since 5 years is quite the milestone these days we decided to indulge in a trip to Hawaii in April. We spent 5 days on the island of Oahu. Our first few days in the city of Honolulu included a visit to Pearl Harbor, hiking Diamond Head, laying out on the beach, a dinner cruise and spending time with our friends Rob, Erin and their little boy Brayden. We then spent a couple of days at Bellows beach in a cabin. it was amazing to say the least. The beach was pristine and uncrowded as this beach is exclusive to military. Rob, who was the best man at our wedding, has been stationed at Hickam Air Force base for a few years, so it was great to see them and spend some quality time together.
