Isn't it great when your birthday falls on a weekend? Last saturday was my 23rd birthday.
Unfortunatley it was pouring down rain all day :( We had about 20 friends over to celebrate our new home and my birthday. To my surprise my best friend who lives in San Diego showed up! The rain let up and we were able to sit around the fire pit and listen to the guys sing and play guitar.
Laith, the best husband ever, had me open by birthday present when everyone was gathered around. I opened a framed sketched picture.... of laith.... as Rose from the titanic :) (you know the scene when Jack sketches Rose nude wearing the 'Heart of the ocean')
On Tuesday he surprised me again with my real present, Miss Hokie! She is a beautiful, three month old, calico kitty. She's fiesty, needy and loud, but we love her! Switch was not to sure about her at first but they are quickly becoming good buddies :)
